Announcement: 2025–2026 Bowdoin Graduate Prize Winners

Congratulations to Jing Hwan Khoo for winning a Bowdoin Prize for Graduate Essay in the English Language for his essay entitled "Ritual as a Mode of Dwelling in Time."

Congratulations to Byron Otis for winning a Bowdoin Prize for Graduate Essay in the English Language for his essay entitled "The Mirror and the Moon: The Reflected Lunar Gaze in Early Modern Europe."

Congratulations to Elisa Pavarino for winning a Bowdoin Prize for Graduate Essay in the Natural Sciences for her essay entitled "The Spacetime of Memory."

Any candidate for a higher degree from Harvard University who holds a bachelor’s degree and who has been in residence at Harvard University since the beginning of the academic year may compete for these prizes. (For further information about eligibility, see FAQ 3.)
